Biography
Jacob J. Sligh, son Nicholas Sligh and Catherine Cappleman, was born on 26 Oct 1782 in South Carolina.[1][2]
He married Mary Legrone, daughter of Andrew Legrone.[1][2]
Jacob died on 3 April 1845 at South Carolina[1] and was buried at Sligh Family Cemetery No. 2, Newberry County, South Carolina. His memorial has links to those of family members.[2]
His will was recorded on 22 July 1845 and identified his wife and seven children: Nicholas, Mary Bob, John, Jacob, Andrew J., Catharine Thompson, Sarah Bob.[3]
