Biography

George was born in in Crondall Hampshire in 1826.

In 1851, George was a lodger with the Gunner family in Crondall - he later married their daughter. George and Elizabeth would have 2 children - George and Lydia.

In 1871, George was living at The Round House, Crookham and he was working as a green grocer. By 1881, he was working as a 'nurseryman'.

Research Notes

We are unable to locate a verifiable death record. George appeared in the 1881 England Census, but in none thereafter, so we have shown his death as being after that year. Other researchers have suggested the George is buried at Christ Church, Crookham, but we have not been able to confirm this.
