Biography

William was born July 28, 1888 in Weatherford, Parker, Texas.

He registered for the WWI draft on June 5, 1917 in Marysville, Cooke, Texas. William states he is single and exempt from the draft due to the fact he is missing a leg or in his words "one leg off." ^[1]

He passed away July 7, 1963 in Gruver, Hansford, Texas. ^[2][3][4] William was laid to rest in Gruver Cemetery, Gruver, Hansford, Texas, United States. ^[5]
