Mariah was born June 25th 1852 in North Carolina to Joe and G(L)ouise Sloan. I have been unable to find Mariah and Anderson's marriage information. I also have not been able to locate his funeral and death information

Their daughter Madie is buried in the same cemetery as her Mother. They are African American and lived through the Civil War.

On Mariah's Death Certificate it says (L)Gouise is her Mother's maiden She passed away Oct 25th 1920 and is buried at Pinewood Cemetery
