Biography

Margaret Octavia Sloane (married name Grove) was born in 1870 in Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Annabella Helen Sloane and Alexander Sloane.^[1]

She married Walter Maurice Grove on 2 June 1892 in Mulwala, New South Wales.^[2][3] They did not have children (according to Burke's Colonial Gentry, Margaret died without issue).^[4]

Margaret died on 5 June 1894 at Mulwala Station in Mulwala.^[5]

Research notes

Kirkcudbright.co states that Margaret died on 6 June 1894.^[2] Using 5 June 1894 for this profile, from her newspaper death notice in the Albury Banner and Wodonga Express on 8 June 1894.^[5]
