Biography

James was born in 1881. He is the son of William Sloane and Mary Espy Johnston.[1] He married Isabel Hoyt. [2]

James was an attorney with the Sloane, Hoyt and Carruth firm. [3]

He died in 1955 while attending the Princton-Yale football game.[4] He is interred at the Princeton Cemetery in Princeton, New Jersey. [2][3]
