Smaistrla. He was reared in the East Bernard area and attended
school at the Muldoon Public School in East Bernard. Mr. Smaistrla
married Agnes Beran on Jan. 4, 1938, in East Bernard. He was a farmer
all his life. Mr. Smaistrla was a member of Holy Cross Catholic
Church, the KJT and East Bernard Knights of Columbus.
