Following is from Stuart Hawksworth (Genes Reconnected):-. Occupation: Soldier. Year of birth: 1777 Year of death: 1864. Place of birth: Glasgow, Lanarkshire. Notes: Served in the 57th Regiment of foot.

There's a Chelsea Pensioner's service record for George Small with correct DOB but wrong place of birth - Warwickshire. Possibly "Lanarkshire" mistranscribed? Need to see the original.
