Biography
Judith Stoughton's first husband was John Denman (married circa 1612) who died circa 1621 - 1622 in England.
Judith Stoughton Denman's second husband was William Smead.
Some sources erroneously claim that Judith and William had the following children: Judith (1600), Elizabeth (1600), Israel (1600), and William Jr. However, Judith was married to John Denman until his death circa 1621 - 1622.
It is almost certain that Judith and William Smead had only one child, William Smead Jr.
Not much is known about William Smead Sr.
September 3, 1634 -- Widow Judith Stoughton Denman Smead sailed from England to Massachusetts Bay Colony, by way of Barbados, on the ship "Dorset" so William Smead Sr. must have died before she sailed away.
