Josiah was born about 1690. Josiah Smith ... He passed away in 1756 (probate 26 Apr 1756).[1]
Josiah wrote his will on 20 February 1746. He made bequests to the following:
my beloved wife Marthe
my beloved son Thomas
my beloved daughter Sarah Carr, wife of Joseph Carr
my beloved son Josiah Smith
my beloved son Samuel Smith
my beloved son John Smith
my beloved son James Smith
my beloved son Moses Smith
Son Thomas was appointed executor and was to pay out the legacies. He paid Josiah, John, and James on 22 June 1756. On 25 July 1759, Moses received his legacy from his sister Lydia Smith, Executrix of the will of his brother Thomas Smith, deceased.
