He was my grandfather. When I knew him he didn't talk much. When the family were gathered and talking, he would sometimes get bored and come in the other room where his grandchildren were playing and he would dance a jig for us. When he milked the cows, he would give us a drink out of the bucket (to our mother's outrage). I loved him very much.
