Biography

When George A. Smith was born in 1852 in Clayton, New York, his father, Seth, was 25 and his mother, Elcena, was 21. He married Jennie (Jane) Lord on January 1, 1872, in Fork, Michigan. They had three children during their marriage. He died in 1936 at the age of 84, and was buried in Bangor, Michigan.
