Biography

Eunice Smith was born September 10, 1800 in Rennsalear County, NY, USA. She might have been the daughter of Daniel Smith and Eunice Gardner.

She married her husband John Marzevan Carrier on July 17, 1816. Together, they had the following children:

  1. Daniel S. Carrier
  2. Emily E. (Carrier) Enos
  3. John G. Carrier
  4. Amaziah Churchill Carrier
  5. Louisa A (Carrier) Enos Brainerd

In 1860, she, her husband, their son Amaziah, and their daughter Louisa with two of her children were all living together in Stephentown, Rennsalaer County.[1] A decade later, Eunice and her husband were living with a young Thomas Brainard, presumably a grandchild of some sort through their daughter Louisa.[2]

Eunice passed away July 5, 1888.
