4 Thomas^ Fox (Hcnry,^ John>) married, about 1707, Mary, daughter of Edmund Tunstall, of King and Queen county, and Catherine, his wife, who married 2dly Richard Wyatt, of King William county. {Virginia Maga::ine, IX., 310.) They had issue: 6 Joseph Fox, of Planover county, who married Susanna Smith in 1730 {Spotsylvania County Records, 84). She was the sister of Thomas Ballard Smith, of Louisa, who names her in his will.

I was working on the profile for her brother - Thomas Ballard Smith (1705-1777) - and he names both her as his sister and "Caty Fox" as his niece. So Susanna had a daughter Caty at the time he wrote his will (13 August 1776).
