Biography

Nathaniel Elliot Smith was born on 2 February 1746 in Biddeford, York, Massachusetts, son of James Smith (1716–1761) and Hannah Eliot (1721– ).[1]

His siblings were:

  2. Aaron Smith (~1791–1879)

Nathaniel married Phebe Flye (born in 1755 in Weston, Aroostook, Maine; daughter of William Jonathan Flye). Their known children were:

  1. James Smith (1787–1857)
  2. Sarah Smith (1790–1865)
