Biography

William was born about 1743. He was the son of David Smith and Ann Bryant. He passed away about 1836.

William's Pension Application said he as a spy during the Battle of point Pleasant but did not fight in the battle.

The marriage date is included in American Revolution Pension papers [1], filed by Mary, also listing births of their children.
