Anderson was born 1860 to Christopher Smith and Amanda Carter. Anderson Smith was married twice, which he states in the 1910 census, but his first wife is unknown at this time. He married second to China Gregory Sumpter in 1889. He passed away in 1929 and is buried in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple, Bell County, Texas,.[1]
There is no evidence that he had a child named Nancy b. 1871 (he would be 11), but he had a sister Nancy born 1871. I moved her profile to sibling.
