married Martha Ann (Miller) 8-31-1882 as told to family by Rev. Henry L Green (Henry's father was Jim James Milton Green) to Henry's knowledge Frank and Martha had many children but they only had 3 names: Rachel Virginia Smith Green Perry Euin Smith, wife Alpha both lived in Hamlin, Tx Lela Alice Smith O'Donnel and someone they called Aunt Jenny

4th child birth order: Franics Marion Rev.2 Smith (John J.1) was born March 18, 1821, and died September 08, 1893 in St. Clair County, Alabama. He married Martha Ann Miller January 23, 1854 in Bartow County, Georgia, daughter of Benjamin Miller and Mary Ann. She was born February 14, 1833 in South Carolina, and died June 19, 1913 in Lawrence, Texas.

Smith: He went by the name Franklin or Frank.buried at Gum Spring Cemetery ,Alabama. 1880 census St. Clair , Alabama has wife Martha and two daughters Virginia and Alice living at home also Martha Ann nephew, Benjamin Miller is living and working the farm. Francis daughter and son in law are buried next to Him . Lillian Lowery, his granddaughter is also near him. she died at the age of 2. After his death his wife Martha moved with her grown children to Texas .

36 ii. Georgia Ella Smith, born September 29, 1857; died September 08, 1893 in St. Clair County, Alabama. She married Joesph Daniel Jackson December 23, 1873 in St. Clair, Alabama; born November 20, 1850 in Roseca, Georgia; died July 31, 1911 in St. Clair County, Alabama.

37 iii. Rachel Virginia Smith, born February 01, 1860 in Ashville, Alabama; died June 26, 1939 in Hunt, Texas. She married Joseph Milton Green August 29, 1882 in St Clair, Alabama; born January 13, 1860; died September 25, 1906 in Kaufman County, Texas. 38 iv. Lola Alice Smith, born March 18, 1862. She married Abner C. O'Donnell. Notes for Lola Alice Smith: 1880 census of St. Clair, Alabama has she is living with Francis Marion her father.

39 v. Hattie Smith. Died in childhood. Some Family has it as Nettie or Hattie however, I found a death notice for her mother written by Perry stated that Hattie and Georgia Ella Smith Jackson died years earlier.



Martha Ann Miller Married Rev. F. M. Smith in the year 1854 at Cartersville, Georgia. They resided there only a short time and then moved to St. Clair County, Alabama just before the Civil War. To this union were born five Childers, Two of whom died many years ago. (Mrs. Ella Jackson and a small child named Hattie.) The three surviving children are P. E. Smith , Hamlin, Texas and the two daughters mentioned above. Her husband was Frank Smith , a Baptist minister, and live near Ashville, Alabama.
