Charles Sidney Smith, aged 40 years, died this morning at 7 o'clock in Tompkins Corners after a short illness of pneumonia and influensa. Mr. Smith was born in the town of Campbell. He was a farmer by occupation. He formerly resided in this city. He is survived by his wife, one son Harry T. and one daughter, Mildred, six brothers, Austin, David, Isaiah, Pomeroy and Edwin Smith of this city and Sylvester of Coopers Plains and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor of this city and Mrs. Hattle Bennett of Yates County. The funeral arrangements have not been completed but interment will take place at Coopers.
