Followed Tags
Joni is a Wiki Genealogy Volunteer following these tags:
My mother's paternal side. They arrived in New York via Quebec. Name change involved.
My husband's maternal side.
My Great Great Grandmother is Sarah Darley, who lived in Dartford, Kent, England. Her parents were John and Charlotte. Our family knows little of our ancestry, as my Great Grandparents passed away when my grandmother was very young. I would appreciate any help offered!
The family of my great grandfather, William Seth Frink. I can trace back to John and Grace Frink, who were the first Frinks in America.
My husband's maternal side.
My Great Grandmother, Minnie, was the daughter of David Kiger and Amelia Cross. After this, the trail for the Kiger line seems to disappear. They had 5 children, Willis, Minnie, Martin, Arthur and Daisy. One document (marriage license) lists David as coming from Ohio. They lived in Newaygo County Michigan.
My husband's paternal side. Also spelled Sweezey.
My Great Great Grandmother is Ebenezer Wright, who was born in England. His father may have been William, however, I am not sure. Our family knows little of our ancestry, as my Great Grandparents passed away when my grandmother was very young. Any aid would be appreciated.

DNA Tested
Joni Smith's DNA has been tested for genealogical purposes. It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Joni or other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Joni:

Hi –

We are happy to have you as a member of WikiTree. I hope you’re enjoying being here.

I'm a member of the Mentor project, and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can help you with?

Hi Joni,

Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles.

It looks like England Project would be a good fit with the tag you entered. Adding the tag England will help you get updates about activity for that project.

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Look at the list of active projects to see if one fits your needs.

Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)
