John Smith, son of Thomas and Martha Smith, was born on 2 October 1820 and baptised at St Leonard's Parish Church, Southminster, Essex on 8 October 1820.[1]


He married Emma Braybrook at the Parish Church, Southminster, Essex on 18 November 1848.[2]


He died in the Union Workhouse, Maldon, Essex on 16 April 1909.[3]
