Biography

Mary was born before 1790. [1][2]She was the daughter of David Smith and Sarah Lindley.[3]

Mary had one known son, Jefferson Smith. An analysis of the 1820,[4] 1830,[5] and 1840[6] censuses for Walton County, Georgia suggests that she had another son, who died young, and two daughters.

She died after 12 Oct 1857, the date of the final distribution of her mother's estate.[7]
