Glenn was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. He worked for the Bureau of Reclamation and then for Arizona Public Service. He was an avid outdoorsman, fly fisherman, stamp collector, Arizona Wildcat basketball fan and follower of the weather. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he was also a surrogate father to many. He and his family enjoyed vacations in Oak Creek and later at the family cabin in Greer. He died, surrounded by family, in 2003 and is sorely missed.
