Mary Caroline was born in 7 Jan 1822 in Walton County, Georgia.[1] [2]She is the daughter of Job Smith and Nancy Camp.[3]

On 27 Oct 1836, she married Alfred Whaley in Walton County, Georgia.[4]

Between 1847 and 1850, Alfred and Caroline moved to Marshall County, Mississippi.[5]

Caroline (Smith) Whaley died on 19 Nov 1876 and is buried at Bethlehem Methodist Cemetery in Marshall County, Mississippi.[6]
