A Henry Smith was christened 12th November 1830 Whitby, York, England. Parents: John Smith and Ann.

On marriage certificate of his son William, Henry is shown as an Upholsterer who was deceased at date of wedding of William and Blanche Brewer, married (24/12/1881).

1871 census show Henery in Teignmouth and married to Harriett with his son William Henry aka Harry, born 19/10/1862 in Teignmouth.

England, Devon Bishops Transcripts, 1558-1887 report the burial of a stillborn child on 5th August 1861, daughter of Henry and Harriet Smith. Henry is a Cabinet Maker.

1861 Scarborough Nth Yorkshire Aberdeen Walk: John 54 and a Lodging house keeper. Ann 53, Mary D 24, John R 14 anda grandaughter Alice M Campbell aged 3.
