Biography

Dolly Smith, daughter of John Smith, was born on 13 June 1790 in New York.[1]

She married William Porter, son of John Porter, on 24 April 1808 in Montgomery County, New York.[1]

She and William appeared on the census of 29 Oct. 1850 at Ruggles Township, Ashland County, Ohio.[2] She and William appeared on the census of 1 June 1860 at Ruggles Township, Ashland County, Ohio.[3]

Dolly died on 1 June 1866 and was buried at Grove Street Cemetery, New London, Huron County, Ohio.[1] Her memorial has a photo of her memorial monument and a link to that of William.[4]
