Biography

Mary Ann Smith (married name Mayo) was born in 1824 in Kingstown, Dublin, Ireland.[1]

She married Alfred Mayo in 1846 in New South Wales (now Australian Capital Territory), Australia.[1] Their children were:[1]

Alfred died on 20 July 1897 at Duntroon in New South Wales (now Australian Capital Territory).[1]

Mary died only a few months later, on 9 November 1897, at Majura, New South Wales.[1] Her remains were interred at St John the Baptist Cemetery, Reid.[2]
