Nancy was born in 1791, the daughter of James Smith Sr and Mary Carr. She passed away in 1867.

The Islander – Feb 22, 1867 Died. At Port Hill, on the 21st ult., deeply and deservedly regretted by a large circle of relatives, friends and neighbors, to whom she was justly endeared on account of her meek, amiable and Christian disposition, Ann, relict of the late Michael Ramsay, of Port Hill, aged 77 years. The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She leaves three sons and six daughters to lament the loss of a loving and affectionate parent.
