Biography
1880 - married Anderson Lambert on April 6. Her parents were William and Sarah Smith. Her surname is given as Penington, so this would have been her second marriage.[1]
They are recorded in the 1880 census in Stanly County, with their daughter, her daughter from her previous marriage, and Anderson's brother Thomas. Avy was 24.[2]
1900 - living in Mt. Ulla, Rowan County, with Anderson and their children. Married 21 years; mother of 10, 7 living.[3]
1910 - living in Cool Springs, Iredell County, with Anderson and their children. Age 52; mother of 10, 7 living.[4]
