I have been working on my family tree for a few years now and it has become a passion for sure!
My ethinic back ground from what I have discovered from my tree are Scottish, Irish, German, English and French. My DNA tests don't argue this! But I do have some Italian, and Scandivian mixed in there as well. As of yet I have not found any evidence in my tree, but I would think I would have to be able to go back much futher in some lines, which I am not equiped to do. (Even though I do have a good handful of 4th to distant cousins from Norway and Sweden)
One of these years, I am going to go on a vacation to Ireland of Scotland. I am torn to which I would like to do first. The struggle is real. Haha
Just to add alittle more about me: I am from Nova Scotia, three children and 2 grandsons that I love dearly! Work in adminstration, nothing fancy for sure but it pays the bills!
It would certainly be lovely if I could break down some family tree walls! The Cameron's and my great grandmother's-mother's maiden name, MacKinnon or McInnis? I am more to the McInnis but we all know that can be certainly be wrong. Also would like to get futher with the Weir's, Condran's and Fletcher, Fraser.
Hope to make some connections on here!

Click here to start with our New Member How-To Pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles.
Hope you enjoy WikiTree as much as I have. You never know when you will find a lost family member or ancestor. Or maybe find a hidden family secret about an ancestor. Genealogy to me is like being a detective looking for clues into the past.
Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile as the links will work from there.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!

The confirmation for WikiTree Guest access comes to you as an email, so you need to check your inbox and spam folder. If you cannot find the email, a new confirmation email can be generated at E-mail confirmation problems. This is all a process for the WikiTree server to become acquainted with your email server and vice versa so the computers can route the emails properly, so this process is primarily done by the machines with a little help from you. Please let me know if you have any questions about this or anything about WikiTree. :-)
