She had a son Herbert Ernest Grimley, born 27th of May 1889 at Gloucester, and baptised at Cranham, Gloucestershire, on the 22nd of September 1889, the son of Horace Fore Grimley and Elizabeth Mary Eliza Grimley ( she had been baptised at Cranham herself ) ^{[4] [5]}

Elizabeth Mary Eliza Smith married Horace Fore Grimley on the 6th of July 1890 at Portsea Island, Hampshire, England. ^[6]

By 1901 they are living in Ambra Vale South, Bristol, England. Horace is now a Corn Porter probably working at the docks.There are now four children: Herbert, 11, Edwin, 6, Reginald, 4, and Victor, 2. ^[7]
