William was born about 1800. He and his wife Martha are mentioned in the Second Marriage Record of their son Andrew.
He was born in Ireland but had his son Andrew in Scotland.
There is a possiblity that William's wife was a Williamson. The reason behind this is because there have been found several discrepencies on their son, Andrews year of birth. Due to his children's years of birth he is older than originally thought.
