William was born in Ireland and was the son of ??

He married Martha Williamson.

They moved to Scotland. They lived in the Peninghame, Wigtown area.

Children:

1. Andrew, b. 31 May 1816, bp. 06 Jun 1816 in Parish Penninghame.^[1] He first married Mary McGill. Secondly he was married to Ann Jane Kernighan daughter of Ann and Joseph Kernighan. Martha is mentioned in their Marriage record but no Maiden Name is given.^[2]
