Census Records.[1][2]

According to the 1880 Census, Robert was 56 years of age, a laborer, and living in Center, Clinton, Indiana, United States. The census further records that his father's birthplace was Virginia, United States, and his mother's birthplace was also Virginia, United States.

Robert enlisted in the US Army, and served at the rank of Corporal in the Civil War, Company H, 88th Illinois Infantry Regiment, from 1862 to 1865. At time of discharge, he was reduced in rank to Private prior to mustering out.[3][4][5]

Military records indicate Robert was a Blacksmith.

Military pension report. Date on report is 1905, and records Robert as 81 years of age, and a widower.[6]

Burial Location. Robberson Prairie Cemetery, Ebenezer, Greene County, Missouri, USA[7]

On 6 January 2022, I found burial location from military record.

I still have not identified the mother or father of Robert.
