Biography

Laban Smith was born at Taunton, Massachusetts, on 1 Feb 1760, the son of Jasiel Smith and Anna (Crossman) Smith.[1]

Laban Smith married Molly Bryant at Turner, Maine (then in Massachusetts), on 2 Nov 1781, [2][3]

Laban married second, Dolly Ward (1769 - 1849) on 30 Oct 1788 in Worcester, Massachusetts, United States.

In the 1820 census Laban Smith was in Livermore, Oxford, Maine, United States.[4]

In the 1830 census Laban was in Livermore, Oxford, Maine.[5]

In the 1840 census Laban (age 79) was a veteran in the American military in Mount Vernon, Kennebec, Maine.[6]

In the 1850 census Laban (age 86) was in Phillips, Franklin, Maine, United States.[7]

Laban died on 1 December 1851 and was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Phillips, Franklin County, Maine, United States.[8]
