Note N223Marriage license has L M E Smith, so that is why I call my gr grandmother Louisa. She was called Margreta in one census. Whether she was Louisa Margaret Emma or Margaret Louisa Emma, I don't know.
Granddaughter Ida Massey Bates, in a letter , Jan 16, 1968, remembered that Louisa moved to Kaufman County, TX and was staying with son George until there were several children ill in the family. Brother John was asked to take Louisa in his house, but she ended up with her son Joseph Beaugregard Massey in central TX.
