Biography

Robert was christened 24 Jun 1638 at Wilmslow Cheshire, son of William Smyth.[1]

He married Ellen Williamson in 1653.[citation needed]

He passed away 1 Apr 1696 and was buried 3 Apr 1696 at Mobberly. .[2]

Since there is no primary source documentation for his date or place of birth, what evidence is there for the parents attached to the profile? I have been unable to locate a birth record for a Robert Smith in this part of Cheshire between 1626-1640 that can be identified as the Robert Smith who eventually marries Ellen.
