Mrs. Emma F. Elgin
Mrs. Emma F. Elgin, widow of William S. Elgin, the latter former well-known merchant of Brunswick, died at her home West Potomac street, Wednesday evening at 7:30 o?clock after a long illness, 78 years of age. She wa a daughter of the late Christian and Sarah Peacher Smith and resided in Brunswick for 44 years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John E. Brady, at home and one son, Dr. Eugene Elgin, of East Berlin, Pa. and four grandchildren. Two brothers, Jasper Smith, Washington county, and Charles W. Smith, Brunswick also survive. The funeral will take place from the late home Saturday morning at 10 o?clock with services conducted by Rev. Mark Jenkins, rector of the Epicscopal church. Interment will be made in the Episcopal cemetery. C. H. Feete and Son, funeral directors.
