Revolutionary War rolls for John Douglas' Regiment of Conn. says Moses Smith was paid May 10 1776, Hartford, CT for 28 days service from Feb. 13, 1776 to March 12, 1776 when he was "listed" out. He enlisted Jan. 31, 1776, set out for camp on Feb. 13th and arrived at camp Feb. 18th.
