Myron D Smith was born on January 27, 1823 in Hanover Center, Chautauqua, New York, United States, son of Rodney Baranes Smith (1799–1873) and Achsah Blodgett (1801–1852).
Myron (25) married Sarah Adelaide Caryl (17) (born on January 5, 1831 in Watertown, Jefferson, New York; daughter of Levi Alvord Caryl and Elisabeth (Bemis) Smith) on May 14, 1848 in Walworth, Wisconsin, United States.[1] Their daughter was Harriett Marie Smith (1849–1913).
Myron died on October 8, 1912 in Hennessey, Kingfisher, Oklahoma, United States, aged 89. He was buried in Summit Cemetery.[2]
