Hi Elizabeth I am searching for the birth parents of Sarah (Rollins) Smith 1819-1891. She was born in Maine and died in Weston, Maine. She married Thomas Pratt (1811-1876) on Dec 31, 1837 in Weston, Maine. In a book titled "Baskahegan Families A Genealogical Dictionary of Dancroft, Danforth, Orient and Weston, Maine" compiled by Miss Marion L. Dunn (found at the Family History Library) I found the following information: (page 263) "Thomas Pratt married in Weston Sarah Smith, daughter of Nathaniel and Sarah (Rollins) Smith" In another book titled "Weston, Maine Sesquicentennial Memorial. History of Weston" Compiled by Basil E. Kinney. (also found at the Family Hisotry Library) I found the following information: (page 14) "Thomas Pratt married Sarah (Rollins) Smith, daughter of Joseph Rollins, 1795-1845) and wife Thankful G. Templeton, 1795-1861". In the same book on page 120 the following is listed: "In 1850 Nathaniel Smith married at Sidney Me, April 5, 1820 Sarah Rollins, daughter of Jabez and Lydia (Harshall) Rollins, b 1808 d in Weston, Me after 1850. Can you tell me what the correct information is regarding who the correct parents of Sarah(Rollins) Smith are? I would greatly appreciate any help. Donna Long
