Biography

Benjamin Smith was the son of Thomas Smith and Sarah Howe. He married Mary Russell, the daughter of John Russell and Mary Forbes. They had 4 children: Mary, John, Benjamin, and Alling.[1]

Quentin Smith, FTDNA kit #28849, and his 7th cousin, Julien Arsene Smith, FTDNA kit #435792, match at a Genetic Distance of 9 on 111 markers thereby confirming their direct paternal lines back to their MRCA Thomas Smith.
