On 8 Aug 1742 in Jersey Settlement, Rowan Co., North Carolina Colony he married Anna 'Annata' McGuire

On 19 July 1759 he took an oath as Lt. in a Regiment of Foot in Rowan County North Carolina Colony, with Capt. Griffith Rutherford.

His Will was written 14 Dec 1773. [1]
