John Smith, age 28 and was born in January 1872, owns his farm free of mortgage and located in Hindman, Knott, Kentucky, with his wife of 4 years (married about 1896), Martha, age 22 and was born in April 1878, with their children,

Betty Smith, daughter, age 4 and was born in November 1896

Oscar Smith, son, age 3 months and was born in February 1900

All family members were born in Kentucky same as each of their parents. John and Martha have been married one time each and for 4 years. Martha has birthed 3 children and 2 are living. John's occupation is Farmer.

During the 1910 US Census:

Martha Smith, age 61, and now widowed, was renting their home for free located in Knott, Kentucky, with her son, Estil Smith, age 14. Martha and Estil were born born in Kentucky. In 1935 they were living in the same house. Martha and Estil have each attended 6 years of school and Estil has attended school during this census year.
