Hi Vernon.

Your Mary Cook (Cook-19826) and mine, (Cook-25202) may well be one and the same person. They were living within 35 miles of each other 20 years later. Yours married young and her husband remarried. Mine married older 35 miles down the road. Difficult to say unless I take the DNA test. Even if it were so, our relationship would be very tenuous at best. Might be worth investigating. Cheers, Chris.

Welcome to our community, Vernon. The more ancestors you add, the more likely cousins will find you and help.

Our Honor Code, G2G forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.

Our G2G forum has a social gathering spot, the Tree House. Please consider stopping by to introduce yourself.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.

Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only ONE profile per person.

Hi Vernon,

Welcome to WikiTree. We're glad you found us.

How To Use WikiTree is a good place to start. It is a step-by-step-guide to WikiTree basics. Our G2G Forum is searchable or you can post a question there. The Help Index is also an important place to find how to do most tasks.

If you would like to contribute your family's tree and you agree with our Honor Code (click the link to it in the drop-down menu in "Help" at upper right), volunteer here on your profile and we would be glad to add you to our WikiTree community. Donna
