Hi Bob, Your WikiTree ID is Smith-59623; your profile page is http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Smith-59623.

Next, you should read & "sign" our Honor Code: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Honor_Code.

You can import a GedCom file, but break it down into small pieces. Start out with about 25 individuals or so to get the hang of it. The reason is there is a lot of work involved. Each person that ever lived should eventually have one profile on the WikiTree that we all share. If two or more profiles are created for the same person, the duplicates must be merged back down to the original, earliest profile. One big family WikiTree; one profile/leaf for each person on the WikiTree. Here is info about GedComs: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:GEDCOMs.

Out of room! Kitty

Welcome to the DNA Project: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:DNA

To make DNA connections with your cousins, WikiTree needs to see your FamilyTree. You should use the pale yellow Privacy setting on any profiles in your DNA family line so that WikiTree can see the Family Tree tab. (Please set all living children to the Unlisted privacy level.)

As you add your family lines and connect to the big WikiTree, you may find you are related to people you never expected. Use the Relationship calculator to see if you are related to me, Cooper-1 with http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Relationship

Please let me know if you need any assistance.

Thank you for joining WikiTree, Dr. Bob! I am trying to connect yDNA tested lines back to their earliest ancestors. I had to fix a link just now on yours, but tomorrow your test should track on each forefather back to Lt. Sam. Please let me know if you want to add to your WikiTree or if you want to join our WikiTree DNA Project: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:DNA
