Hi Patrick,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful. Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies. If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles. Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations. If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page. _____ Matt~ WikiTree Mentor

Hi Patrick, I've not entered any DNA results, but looks like you just select the type of test in the drop down menu and then enter the details in the comment box.

If that's not getting results the G2G forum may have a clue or if you post the question there, an experienced volunteer will answer promptly. Sorry that I'm no help with this :D

I see where you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.

Howdy!

Just checking in to see how things are going :)

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with one profile per person. The farther back you go, it's likely you will find existing profiles to link into so it's important to do a thorough search before adding someone!

Do you have Royal Ancestors? If so, they are already here! Please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their already existing profiles.

WikiTree strives to be a fun, collaborative, productive site. It's also different than what many people are used to. Please take advantage of the Help Menu in the upper right hand corner, and of course, our Mentors :)

Do you have questions I can help with?

My name is Patrick; I love the concept of WikiTree; After years on a major genealogical web site, I am have become increasingly aware of the inaccurancies that are posted in some trees. I am constantly searching for authentic and accurate information.
