Biography

Mary Ann Smith (married names Winther, then O'Brien) was born on 6 October 1883 in Gunbower, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Mary Ann (Silvey) Smith and Henry Sprinks Smith.

She married 1 Sigvor Torval Carl Winther in 1905 in Fitzroy, Victoria.[citation needed] Their children were:

Mary Ann married William O'Brien in 1925 in Northcote, Victoria.[1]

Mary Ann died on 11 April 1951 at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Parkville, Victoria, aged 67 years.[2]
