In council, The Petition of Hannah Frelick alias Smith - That you petitioner is the daughter of the late Jacob Smith, private soldier in the 2nd Battalion, R. R. Regiment, New York. Therefore, humbly requests that your honour will be pleased to grant her two-hundred acres of land, and your petitioners are in duty bound will pray. -- Hannah Frelick, Fredericksburgh, October 1797.

I do hereby certify that the petitioner is married to Jacob Frelick and that her father, Jacob Smith, was a soldier in the late 2nd Battalion, R. R. Regiment, New York -- Alexander Clark C.P.
