He married Nancy Camp on 10 Aug 1817 in Jackson County, Georgia.[3]

Job appears on a tax list for Walton County, Georgia in 1819 in Capt. Beek's District,[4], and in the 1820[5] and 1830[6] censuses for Walton County, Georgia.

Job Smith died on 8 Jun 1840, probably in Walton County, Georgia[7] and is buried in the David Smith Family Cemetery, present day Barrow County, Georgia.[8]
