Hello Jackie, the England Project has changed the way that "Category:England Project" is used, from identifying England Project Members to a category for the England Project Free Space Pages and admin pages.

I would therefore be very grateful if you would remove "Category:England Project" from your personal profile. Please contact me if you have any questions about this.

Many thanks, Jo, England Project Leader

Hi Lisa,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi Lisa,

Could you revisit the profiles for : John Thomas Barrass and his mother Elizabeth Ann Bowen On their profiles he is born in 1897 and his mother died in 1891 (before he was born), however this may be because the death source for her is for Elizabeth Ann Bowen, her name at death would have been Elizabeth Ann Barrass (her married name) Refer to Suggestions Report:

Hi Lisa

I’m the new Project Coordinator for the England Project. I am contacting you, as there have been some recent changes to the project which we are keen to bring to your attention. Please look at the England Project page for more information on the changes and the ways members are able to actively contribute moving forward. Once you have considered how you would like to participate, please contact either myself or Susie to let us know. We can then list your involvement, help you join the Google group forum for England, and give you any other help you may need to get going. If we don’t hear back from you we’ll assume you do not wish to be a part of the England Project for the time being. We really hope you will join the team! Gillian

Hi Lisa, Thanks for your message. Yes the badges are a great short cut to the participants list and the projects themselves.

Hi Lisa , Thanks for your message. Excellent and welcome! I've added the UK project badge to your profile. If you click on the badge it will take you to the full list of our wonderful members. Click on United Kingdom Project will take you the first page of the project. Scroll down to participants. I've added your good self . Can you add your Country/County of interest etc. You'll also find info on how to join the project google group. I'll let you explore and catch up with you later.

Thanks again for joining and enjoy. Maria

Please join our new Smith Researchers page and tell us what Smiths you are researching. http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Smith_Researchers

Just add your name and ancestor information to the Smith Researcher page.

Then, at the top of your profile biography section, add Category: Smith Researchers inside double braces (that is two opening [[ and two closing), so that the category is added to your profile biography. Hope you join us soon! Kitty Cooper-1 Smith

Lisa,

I see that you have been doing some merges. If you have several duplicates to merge, remember to choose the final profile first, then merge all the profiles into that one. So: if C is the final profile, merge A into C, and B into C, not A into B into C. You can check out the Help section here: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Merging#Merging_multiple_duplicates

It's ok Lisa... it's a big ol' planet but it keeps gettin' smaller :)

I totally don't wish to lose out on our friends down under, in fact that's really why the chat is 2 days long instead of one... it fit us all together better.

You can click on the link provided in my comment below and get straight to the chat. Directly under the original post are options... you can click "answer" to post a response of any kind. Below anyone else's answer you can click to comment or reply (same thing). Post as many time as you wish.

I hope you can make it tomorrow!
